Melinda Hale

Vice President, Finance

Ms. Hale serves as Vice President of Finance for Sterling Organization and its related entities. In her role, Ms. Hale is responsible for the oversight of accounting for each operating property in Sterling’s portfolio, and as such she leads the Property Accounting, and Project Accounting teams. Additionally, Ms. Hale is responsible for creating efficiencies in Sterling’s accounting platform in relation to the integration with other departments within the firm.

Previously, Ms. Hale was Vice President of Property Accounting at RPT Realty, a publicly traded REIT acquired by Kimco Realty in January 2024, where she oversaw the day-day property accounting, audits and SOX activities as well as providing support to the transaction group. Prior to RPT Ms. Hale held various executive positions with both public and private real estate companies and has over 30 years of industry experience.

Ms. Hale holds a Bachelor of Science, Accounting Major degree from Central Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan.
