South Florida Business Journal: Costco signs 151,104-square-foot lease at Mall of the Americas

The South Florida Business Journal‘s Emon Reiser reports:

“Costco Wholesale, a members-only warehouse shopping club, has signed a 20-year lease agreement for a new space at Mall of the Americas in Miami.

The 151,104-square-foot store is expected to open late 2016, and a portion of the mall will be demolished to make room for it. The mall will remain open during construction, which is expected to start this month.

Palm Beach-based Sterling Organization represented the landlord in the transaction; Bryan Fetherston, of The Shopping Center Group, and Ernest Annibale, of Northwest Atlantic, represented Costco.”
